This breed is found mainly in the northwestern provinces of Argentina and is valued above all for the soft touch of its skin, as it does not have hair. It is believed to be descended from the Peruvian hairless dog, also known as the Mexican dog.

This dog belongs to pre-Columbian times and there is evidence of its existence dating back about 3000 years. It is believed that it was brought to Argentina by the Inca peoples, who presented it as a gift to strengthen relations.

There are three types of size, small, medium, and large, they are agile and fast dogs, and are able to climb and make great jumps. A real character of this breed is that they are very affectionate dogs with the human family and also with.
